Many hands make light work🌳🌳🌿🌱.As part of our green schools project our school committee decided to plant a new native hedge and some trees this year. We had the whole school involved last week and some special guest diggers. ⛏We dug 150 holes ourselves and planted 8 new trees, 90 beech plants, 40 white thorn, some 8 holly and 10 redcurrant along with some fuchsia. We had great fun creating our own carbon sink to reduce our carbon 🦶. Well done all for the wonderful work👏🤛💪. Thank you to #galwayruraldevelopment and #internationaltreefoundation for their help.
